Things I wont ever do the week I’m running a half ever again? Start riding my bike with clip in pedals for the first time in six months. I almost died so many times. That’s slightly dramatic. But I had completely forgotten what I was doing and the gears made me panic and then I spent the whole time worrying I was going to have the “fall that has to happen when you start riding with cleats” that still hasn’t happened to me and then my legs would be ruined for the half and my face would be ruined for bridesmaid duties. Taper week crazies. I’ve really apparently got them.
