Survived my first official crossfit WOD at the new box and my second workout in 12 hours. I may not be able to move this afternoon, but that’s okay. I know I’ve only been twice, but I really like the community and support at the box. It was there at my old one, but sometimes could feel quite elitist and like I wasn’t welcome to socialise because I wasn’t strong/fast/awesome enough. I know it’s probably not true, but it was the vibe I got. Moral of the story is I am falling back in love with crossfit hard and fast. 
Today we did:
Back Squat - 5 - 5 - 5 (did these at 45kg, could have gone heavier, but wanted to work on my technique) 
Bench Press - 5 - 5 - 5 (did these at 35kg, I have no upper body strength and this shit was hard.)
Bottom to Bottom Tabata Thrusters (15kg barbell - score of 5). Talk about death! The “rest” was at the bottom of a squat while still keeping good form holding the bar. Deaaaath. 
And now? I nap, because it is school holidays and that’s just how I roll.
